Porn Industry Begs (Then Coerces) Porndogs to Stop Illegally Downloading Porn

by FCM

last year, the porn industry’s trade association produced a video using porn actors (almost all women) to beg porndog cybercriminals i mean porn consumers to stop downloading porn without paying for it, because the loss of royalties was hurting the industry.  apparently, they thought this would work because having female porn stars begging for stuff is totally sexy, and besides, porn consumers are all upstanding citizens, and they care about other peoples rights, and the industry — that provides them with images of coerced women engaging in sex acts in the complete absence of obvious consent-negotiations and where the circumstances do not imply consent — assumed that once someone called attention to the problem and described, demonstrated and enumerated the harms of what they were doing, said porndogs would immediately change their behavior and start doing the right thing.  stop laughing!

well, turns out it was wrong about its upstanding i mean pornstastic criminal consumer base, so now the industry has decided to start suing them in federal court instead, then offering to “settle” out of court for a lump sum to preserve the defendants’ anonymity.

turns out, having female porn stars telling porn consumers that they didnt like what was happening to them and that they were being harmed by their consumers’ behavior didnt have much of an effect afterall.  what a shock.  luckily, the industry still had a few nickels left in its precariously dwindling coffers to hire a chicago lawfirm to protect its interests.

from the article:

In recent months, [a] Chicago law firm has filed almost 100 federal lawsuits seeking to identify thousands of “John Does” who downloaded pornographic videos in violation of their producers’ copyright. Federal court records indicate that none of [these] cases — in fact, no case of this type ever — has ended with a verdict at trial.

Sometimes, the cases run into roadblocks from skeptical judges over jurisdiction or whether the defendants have been appropriately identified. Others end in settlements for a few thousand dollars from defendants who are relieved that they get to remain anonymous.

Internet privacy advocates and technology writers call [the industry’s lawyer] a “copyright troll” and accuse his firm of scouring the Internet to track down computers that download pornographic videos, then forcing Internet service providers to identify the computer owners so it can shame those people into writing settlement checks.

bahahaha!  oh noes, is the porn industry taking advantage of men in vulnerable positions in order to make money off of them?  is the porn industry being decidedly predatory and engaging in coercive practices?  is the porn industry so politically and financially powerful that it can get its way always, no matter what?  is it kinda scary even?

somehow i doubt most people see the parallel here, and a pattern of engagement within the industry, whereby it employs predatory and coercive practices and uses its power and money to get whatever it wants out of people, destroying lives in the process, because normally the industry only does this to women.  but there is a parallel and a pattern here isnt there?  is there any chance that (for example) the women in porn are never (or even only rarely) coerced, when its obvious that the industry can and does use coercive practices as a matter of course?  is there even the slightest chance that theres some predation going on there, and that vulnerable women are being exploited, where the industry so obviously exploits vulnerable people when it suits it to do so?  its something to think about isnt it?  i mean, for those who are still wondering, despite all the evidence over the years that all of this is true.

and doesnt it just suck to get a taste of the porn industrys medicine, when you are a porn consuming man?  poor teh menz.  i wish they would all just kill each other and get it over with.  oh sorry, did i just say that last part out loud?

  1. It would great if “sexy” images of women inside or exited from porn could brainwash the bastards that consume porn to destroy every image of the sexual torturing done to them. That would be my dream scenario. Oh money is more important that our destruction.

  2. Well, they are killing each other, but they’re killing us a lot faster. In Pakistan, more and more infants are being found in dumpsters, 9 out of 10 of them female. I guess those were the folks who couldn’t afford the ultrasound.

I guess like CBL, I’ve become resigned. Resignation, like old age, eventually takes over with the passage of time. It doesn’t leave me anywhere … I’m still enraged. Still desperate to save The Female who is life herself. But after “human” males have exterminated all but .005% of the current number of species of life on this planet, there will still be female members of those few species. Just none of us.

  3. “poor teh menz. i wish they would all just kill each other and get it over with.” baaaaahahahahaha! I love this blog. It’s the only place I can hear people say what I’m thinking but can’t say because I would be fired/evicted or worse, i’d be forced to realise that most of the people i know are hostile to radical feminism and that pretty much all my real-life relationships are totally toxic.

keep up the great work, sisters. you’re keeping me alive.

  4. “…bahahaha! oh noes, is the porn industry taking advantage of men in vulnerable positions in order to make money off of them?.”

    ROFL! That cracked me up.

Tell men that they should just learn to enjoy being humiliated. Tell them that extortion is empowering. And tell them to STFU, porn is a victimless crime, remember?

  5. These men are making empowered, consensual CHOICES to pay settlement checks to Chicago law firms. Those articles portraying them as victims are outrageous examples of porndog-cybercriminal phobia!

  6. yes it is hilarious isnt it? hilarious and infuriating, as these things often are. i love that these men are being humiliated, its SO FUNNY and SO FITTING. but so sad and so ENRAGING that the parallel is probably never going to be made, except by us. 🙂 thanks for reading.

  7. I guess I’m not the only one who sees the irony here. 🙂
